For outdoor or semi-open stage spaces, ensure there are no tall obstacles blocking air circulation to prevent heat generated by the stage lighting hoist controller during operation from being trapped in local areas.
For enclosed spaces such as indoor theaters and exhibition halls, in addition to turning on fixed ventilation fans, it is also necessary to check whether the air volume of the ventilation system meets the standard (it is recommended that the air change rate be no less than 6 times per hour). A handheld anemometer can be used to detect within 1 meter of the controller to ensure the air velocity is no less than 0.3 m/s. This prevents heat accumulation (e.g., heat from the controller's internal circuit board and cable heat dissipation) generated during the operation of the stage lighting hoist controller from causing overheating damage to components. At the same time, it avoids the risk of fire or explosion caused by the mixture of possible electric sparks (e.g., weak sparks from poor contact of terminal blocks) with flammable gases in the air due to poor local air circulation.
